My Name is ” harao “ Living in Osaka Japan.
I’m taking pictures with a film camera mainly.
Artist statement
いつか見た夢の中で感じた不穏な気配や、あの日の夕暮れ時に心を過った一抹の不安など、
自らの内に潜む感情や記憶の断片のイメージを写真を用いて表現しています。
私の作品において被写体の多くは影や後ろ姿など、ペルソナを覆い隠された姿で登場します。
それは見た目の姿形ではなく、被写体の内に秘められた
目には見えない「何か」を写し撮りたいと考えているからです。
I’m expressing the image which are feelings like a mood of disquiet felt in a dream and a shade of anxiety that I felt in my heart at dusk of one day, and a fragments of memory,in the photograph.
In my work,Many of the subject appeared as figure obscured the Persona,like a back shot and a shadow.Because,I want to take is “something” which was hidden within the subject that can not be seen at eye.
